How Can severe Numbness In The Knee Be Treated?

Hello. About 10 days ago, I heard/felt a pop in my left knee. Since then, I have been icing it a few times a day. I cannot walk normally. Some times I can barely walk at all. My leg has completely given out a few times. Today for the first time, I could not stand without support because it felt like someone had a Tinz(sp) unit on my entire leg. I am typically a quick healer but not on this. Any ideas?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello dear
I understood your concern deeply.
This alarms definite underlying ligament sprain / muscle stretch around knee.
As now already 10 days are gone , I strongly recommend you to take an
appointment with Orthosurgeon for consultation as soon as possible to get
the diagnosis & further management accordingly.
Till that time can consume analgesic tablets morning & evening after meals.
Hope this will definitely help you.
Get well soon.
Thanks for using Health care magic .
Regards .
